Judges’ Comments: “Mossop Construction + Interior’s commitment to safety starts from the top with a WHS policy developed and committed to by the Managing Director. It is clear that safety is at the forefront of all decision making within the company. Mossop’s BIM process has been crucial to the successful delivery of the project, through the use of modelled staging plans aiding early programming and staging of works, very important when working in an active school environment. The innovative design of Durapanel to become the finished ceiling product reduced the requirement for workers to work at heights by designing & installing a separate ceiling 16m meters above the floor. There have been 0 MTIs and 0 LTIs recorded on the project with over 32,000 + hours of work. Mossop are truly deserving of this WHS award”.
