First Sod Turned for the New Ambulance Station at Norwood
14/09/23
The first sod was turned this morning by the Minister for Health & Wellbeing Chris Picton MP and CEO of SA Ambulance Robert Elliott, for the new Norwood Ambulance Station. This new state-of-the-art facility located on the corners of Portrush and Magill Roads forms part of an initiative by the Labour Government to improve ambulance services in South Australia. Norwood station will be the first of 10 brand new ambulance stations to be built, and another 10 existing stations will be upgraded across the state.
Construction on the Norwood Ambulance Station has already begun, and the concrete pour is scheduled for early November. Mossop is thrilled to be delivering this significant infrastructure for SA Ambulance Service, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) and SA Health, in collaboration with Greenway Architects SA, BCA Engineers, WGA (Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec), Stantec, Oxigen and Resonate.
