Construction
The Health Partners Southern Project consisted of the demolition of an existing dilapidated building and development of a 2 storey building with an undercroft carpark; ground floor dental suite and operations, optical store and consult rooms, and a base build on the first floor. There is also external carpark for patients and visitors, including the upgrade of the existing carpark for an adjacent neighbour.
The aluminium fin façade for this building is striking and unlike any other structure in this section of Main South Road. Extensive coordination and shop drawing process was undertaken with structural steel, aluminium window fabricator, CFC cladding contractor and façade contractor to ensure alignment with all mullions, steel structural connections from slab / structural steel were all in the correct location to allow a seamless installation of the aluminium fins curving and waving around the building. There were zero defects in the aluminium façade at Practical Completion which was a credit to the Façade Contractor and the entire project team.
