Judges' comments: "This was an extremely challenging project. It required extensive work whilst the hotel remained operational 24 hours, seven days a week. There was a complex array of finishes including some unusual materials such as mesh curtains in the ballroom and silver leaf on the ceiling panels. The project was completed on time and within the budget and the client is exceptionally pleased with the Mossop Group”.
