Our Lady of the Visitation School’s New Classroom Building is an exciting addition to the campus creating a modern, functional space which promotes creativity, and collaboration among students.
This project involved the demolition of an old classroom building and toilet block, making way for the new construction.
The single storey structure consists of six classrooms, a breakout space for group activities, staff preparation area, storage rooms, withdrawal rooms for specialised instruction, and amenities for students and staff.
In addition to the building construction, several external works were undertaken. A new sandpit and play equipment were installed to provide recreational opportunities for the students. Bitumen and paved areas were created to ensure safe and accessible pathways for students and staff along with landscaping to enhance the aesthetics of the school grounds.
Mossop were thrilled to deliver this project for Our Lady of the Visitation School and Catholic Education South Australia in collaboration with SMFA - Stallard Meek Flightpath Architects, Norman Disney & Young, Intrax Projects and Birdseye Studios. We look forward to seeing the opportunities which this new educational facility will provide for the students and staff of Our Lady of the Visitation School.
