Joint Managing Director / Board Member

Grant brings over 25 years of industry experience and a strong foundation in both construction and business leadership to his role as Joint Managing Director at Mossop Construction + Interiors. His journey began with a Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship, followed by an Advanced Building Certificate, and later a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia—equipping him with the technical and strategic skills to lead in a complex, evolving industry.

Since joining Mossop, Grant has held a variety of roles across the business, including Site Manager, Project Manager, and Construction Manager. These experiences have shaped his deep understanding of project delivery, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. In 2011, he was named "Master Builders Young Builder of the Year," a recognition of his commitment to excellence and innovation.

Grant plays a pivotal part in steering Mossop’s strategic vision and operational excellence. He leads construction delivery with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation, while cultivating strong relationships with clients and industry partners. A passionate advocate for people and culture, Grant is dedicated to mentoring emerging talent, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

As Joint Managing Director at Mossop Construction + Interiors, Aaron plays a central role in guiding the company’s strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence. With more than 25+ years experience in the construction industry, he began his career in estimating and administration while completing a Bachelor of Building Construction Management and Economics. He later moved into Project Management, where he successfully delivered a wide array of projects across multiple contract and delivery methodologies consistently achieving outstanding outcomes through his deep industry expertise.

In 2011, Aaron was appointed Business Development Manager and continues to lead initiatives that drive Mossop’s market expansion and profitability. His dedication to building strong relationships with public and private clients, as well as key consultants, has established a stong foundation for long-term partnerships and sustained business growth.

Aaron’s leadership inspires high-performing teams, cultivates a resilient and values-driven culture, and reinforces Mossop’s reputation as a trusted industry leader. His ability to seamlessly align strategic vision with practical execution continues to shape Mossop's success and future direction.

Lynda Simon

Lynda Simon

Joint Managing Director / Board Member

Lynda is a highly accomplished business leader with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Australia and a Certified Practising Accountant. With more than 25+ years of experience in finance and construction, she joined Mossop Construction + Interiors in 2001 as Corporate Accountant and has since played an integral role in the company's financial growth and operational excellence.

As Joint Managing Director, Lynda is responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day operations, and long-term financial planning of the organization. She works closely with the management team to drive innovation, enhance performance, and explore new business opportunities, ensuring the continued success of Mossop Construction + Interiors.

In addition to her leadership role, Lynda serves as a key member of the Mossop Construction + Interiors Board. Her deep financial expertise, progressive approach, and vision for the future of the business have positioned her as a driving force in the company’s ongoing achievements.

Lynda’s commitment to excellence and her ability to identify and act on new opportunities continue to be essential in navigating the challenges and growth of Mossop Construction + Interiors.

Neil Mossop

Director / Chairperson

Neil’s career in the construction industry began as an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner with Adelaide builder Fricker Carrington Group. After completing his TAFE Advanced Building Certificate, Neil co-founded Mossop Group Pty Ltd with his father, Bert, in 1979. As Managing Director, Neil has played a key role in guiding the company’s strategic growth, ensuring that Mossop Construction + Interiors continues to deliver high-quality projects that meet the expectations of all stakeholders while building long-lasting relationships with clients and consultants.

With over 45+ years of expertise in both building and company finance, Neil has expanded his qualifications to include Contract Law, Engineers Services, and Green Star Accreditation. His leadership and vision have been integral to Mossop’s continued success and expansion.

Neil continues to sit on the Mossop Board of Directors as Chairman, where he provides valuable insight and direction to support the company's continued growth. In addition to his work with Mossop, Neil is an active member of the industry, serving as a committee and council member of the Master Builders Association (SA), where he helps shape the future of construction and interiors in Australia.

John Mossop

Director / Board Member

John began his career in the construction industry as an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner, gradually working his way up to Site Manager with the Fricker Carrington Group. In 1983, he joined his brothers at Mossop Group Pty Ltd as Project Manager, and his exceptional leadership and expertise soon led to his role as Construction Director. As Construction Director, John managed a large team of Project Managers and was responsible for the smooth delivery of construction and interior projects across a wide range of industry sectors.

Having recently stepped back from his role as Construction Director, John now focuses on other strategic business initiatives. However, he continues to sit on the Board of Mossop Construction + Interiors, where his extensive experience and insights, accumulated over more than 45+ years in the industry, remain invaluable in guiding the company's direction and future growth.

Ray Mossop

Ray's career in the construction industry began with Adelaide-based Fricker Carrington Group, where he started as an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner. After completing his TAFE Advanced Building Certificate, Ray joined Mossop Group in 1980, marking the beginning of an impactful tenure.

As Director of Special Projects, Ray played a crucial role in delivering outstanding results across various sectors, consistently creating value for clients. With over four decades of industry expertise, Ray has now retired from day-to-day operations but remains an integral part of Mossop Construction + Interiors as Director and Board Member. His extensive knowledge and experience continue to guide the company's strategic direction, ensuring the continued success and innovation in the construction industry.

Stephen Prosser

General Manager / Board Member

With more than 40 years of experience at Mossop Construction + Interiors, Stephen has been a key figure in the company’s growth and success since joining in 1982. He began in various roles before being appointed General Manager in 2008. His extensive expertise in commercial construction, contracts, and procurement has been a significant asset, providing invaluable guidance to project teams throughout the years.

As General Manager, Stephen oversees daily operations, ensuring the efficient development and implementation of management systems, financial structures, performance goals, and project supervision. He also leads the management team, focusing on business development, strategic planning, and driving the company’s ongoing growth.

Stephen holds an Associate Diploma in Building Technology, a DCMA Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, and has completed a Government Building Inspectors Qualifying Course. Alongside his executive responsibilities, Stephen is a key member of the Mossop Construction + Interiors board, where he actively promotes growth, fosters innovation, and contributes to shaping the company’s strategic direction.

Stephen’s decades of experience and leadership continue to steer Mossop Construction + Interiors, maintaining its reputation as a trusted name in the industry.

David Frisby-Smith

David Frisby-Smith

Company Accountant

With over 25+ years of experience across various industries including banking, service, wholesaling, manufacturing, commercial accounting, and construction, David brings a wealth of expertise in accounting and administration. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Majoring in Accounting) from 2007 and being a proud member of CPA Australia, David has built a distinguished career in financial management.

As the leader of Mossop’s Accounts division, David oversees all aspects of the department, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company management systems. He is responsible for monitoring accounts department workflow, processes, and performance, as well as managing end-of-month and annual responsibilities. David also ensures the accurate completion of company-related taxation documentation, supports information technology systems, and champions continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Estimating Manager

As Estimating Manager at Mossop, Adam brings expertise in trade packaging, material quantification, labour forecasting, market trends, and subcontractor capabilities. These insights are key to shaping accurate, competitive tenders and driving the commercial success of every project.

Adam has played a pivotal role in securing many of Mossop’s most significant projects across a broad range of sectors. His adaptability across delivery models—Lump Sum, Design and Construct, Managing Contractor, and Early Contractor Involvement—ensures tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client and project.

Leading a high-performing team of experienced Estimators, Adam fosters a collaborative and transparent approach from pre-tender planning through to trade negotiations and final engagement. His leadership is defined by precision, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering optimal cost outcomes and exceptional value.

By combining his market knowledge with a focus on teamwork, Adam continues to ensure Mossop clients receive the highest level of service, value and project success.

Dale Gentilcore

Estimating 2IC

As Estimating 2IC, Dale plays a key role in assisting the Estimating Manager to lead Mossop's Estimating team from pre-tender through to pre-start and procurement. With a focus on ensuring a collaborative and outcome-driven approach, Dale helps the team provide the best value-for-money solutions for project stakeholders.

Dale’s journey with Mossop began in 2010 when he joined as an Estimator. Over the years, his consistent success in managing numerous tender bids and supporting the Estimating team saw him promoted to Estimating 2IC in 2018. Some of his recent notable achievements include leading the $156m Yatala Labour Prison Redevelopment and the $25m Flinders Medical Centre - Margaret Tobin Mental Health Redevelopment projects.

With a wealth of experience across a wide range of sectors, including education, health, office, retail, corrections, and community projects, Dale has developed a deep understanding of trade packaging, material quantities, labour hours, and subcontractor strengths and weaknesses. His extensive project involvement has allowed him to build long-lasting relationships with many clients, contributing to his solid reputation in the industry.

Simon Green

Construction Manager

With over two decades of experience in the Australian building industry, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge, strategic insight, and hands-on expertise to his role as Construction Manager at Mossop. A former electrical engineer from the UK, Simon relocated to Australia in 1995 and has since built an impressive career spanning tier 1 to tier 4 construction companies.

Simon plays a pivotal role in resource allocation and project delivery, ensuring every build aligns with contract specifications and exceeds client expectations. His leadership fosters a culture of collaboration, driving value and innovation across all phases of construction.

Throughout his career, Simon has held key positions in contract administration, project management, and contracts management. At Mossop, he has successfully led the Project Management team, consistently delivering outstanding results on projects valued up to $150 million. His strategic mindset and confident communication style have earned him a reputation for building strong, enduring relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams alike.

Simon’s passion for construction excellence and his ability to lead high-performing teams make him an invaluable asset to every project he undertakes. His commitment to quality, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement ensures that Mossop continues to deliver exceptional outcomes across the board.

Matthew Player

Interiors Construction Manager

As Interiors Construction Manager at Mossop Construction + Interiors, Matthew leads all interior construction, fitout, and refurbishment projects, driving growth in the interiors sector while ensuring each project meets Mossop’s standards for quality, value, and client satisfaction.

Since joining Mossop in 2007 as an Estimator, Matthew has steadily advanced through roles including Interiors Planner and now Interiors Construction Manager. His deep industry knowledge and strategic insight have helped deliver numerous successful projects, including high-profile collaborations with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia across a range of delivery models.

Matthew’s experience spans fitout, refurbishment, and base building works often involving complex, sensitive, and secure environments. He’s also served as Project Director and Design Manager, bringing a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving. Known for his collaborative style and practical solutions, Matthew fosters strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams, making him a key contributor to Mossop’s ongoing success.

Darcy Rayner

As QHSE Manager at Mossop Construction, Darcy leads the company’s efforts to uphold and advance Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across all projects. With over two decades of industry experience, he plays a pivotal role in supporting Site Managers and Safety Supervisors, implementing robust auditing systems, and driving continuous improvement in compliance and safety performance.

Darcy’s leadership has been recognised through multiple MBASA Work Health & Safety Awards, including for the $156 million Yatala Labour Prison Redevelopment and the Trinity College Theatre & Performing Arts Centre. His track record also includes the Ceduna District Health Service Redevelopment and UniSA’s Pridham Hall both award-winning projects that reflect his commitment to safety excellence on complex, large-scale builds.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Darcy continues to be a driving force in reducing workplace injuries, ensuring compliance with federal safety regulations, and guiding Mossop through ongoing improvements in ISO Quality, Safety, and Environmental certifications.

Craig Williamson

Mt Gambier Regional Manager

Craig joined Mossop Construction + Interiors in 2017 as the Regional Manager and Project Manager for our Mount Gambier office. With over 30 years in the construction industry, Craig brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as a Site Manager and Area Manager in the South East and Adelaide regions for 16 years.

As Regional Manager, Craig plays a pivotal role in fostering and managing key relationships with both public and private clients, as well as consultants across South Australia's South East and Western Victoria regions. He also collaborates closely with the business development team to identify new opportunities and engage with clients in these areas.

In his role as Regional Project Manager, Craig is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including the technical, contractual, and administrative components throughout the construction and defects liability periods, ensuring each project is completed to the highest standards.

Craig’s key strengths lie in his ability to communicate promptly and clearly across all levels of the project team, clients, and building representatives. This proactive communication allows for the early identification and swift resolution of potential issues, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and on time.

Jathin Balan

Defence & Special Projects Manager

As Defence & Special Projects Manager at Mossop Construction + Interiors, Jathin brings nearly 30 years of experience across architecture, construction, and strategic project delivery. With a Bachelor of Architecture and an MBA, he blends design expertise with commercial insight to lead complex, high-performing teams.

Jathin drives Defence business development, leading early engagement, stakeholder coordination, and design-phase management for secure and sensitive projects. His deep understanding of Defence protocols and compliance frameworks makes him a trusted advisor in this specialised sector.

He also oversees Design & Construct (D&C) and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) projects, managing design audits, value engineering, BIM integration, ESD initiatives, and safety-in-design. A Green Star Accredited Professional, Jathin has led major reviews including for the $45 million UniSA Pridham Hall.

Passionate about innovation, he champions BIM and prefabrication to modernise construction. His knowledge of statutory frameworks—including BCA, Green Star, NatHERS, WHS Act, and OFSC Guidelines—supports Mossop’s commitment to design excellence and project success.

With over 20 years of experience in design, property development, and construction, Sascha has delivered high-profile, complex projects across Adelaide. Her expertise spans multiple sectors, where she has led construction teams and shaped impactful designs that drive meaningful outcomes.

Sascha thrives in every aspect of the property and construction landscape, working seamlessly with clients, consultants, and contractors. Her strong communication and collaborative approach consistently lead to successful project delivery.

A career highlight was her role as Design Manager for Festival Tower in the Adelaide Riverbank Precinct, one of the city’s most significant private developments. She led internal and external teams, including specialists and future tenants, to deliver a bold design vision that redefined the precinct’s master plan.

Known for blending design innovation with strategic delivery, Sascha brings deep industry knowledge to complex, high-stakes projects. Her ability to integrate value management, construction expertise, and creative problem-solving makes her a standout leader.

Lead Project Engineer

As Lead Project Engineer at Mossop, Matthew oversees a dedicated team of civil/structural and services engineers. His role encompasses managing project resources, ensuring adherence to quality plans, and assisting project teams with commissioning plans and completion documentation.

Joining Mossop in 2018 as a Project Engineer after earning his Honours Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, Matthew has played a pivotal role in numerous successful projects. A key highlight in his career includes his significant contribution to the $156m Yatala Labour Prison (YLP) Redevelopment project, where his expertise was instrumental in the project’s successful completion.

Matthew is known for his unwavering diligence, integrity, and teamwork. His collaborative and honest approach with peers, clients, and colleagues embodies the core values of the Mossop Brand.
