Plans have been unveiled for the new $29 million Salisbury Aquatic Centre which will feature a 10-metre-tall slide tower, Olympic sized outdoor swimming pool a 25m heated indoor pool , leisure pools, waterplay for the kids along with a gym and cafe.
Construction of the centre is now underway at the former swimming pool site at Happy Home Reserve in Salisbury. Mayor Gillian Aldridge said the impressions give a glimpse into what will be one of Council’s most significant investments into the Salisbury City Centre.
We look forward to working with the City of Salisbury, the local community and the extended project team to bring the highly-anticipated revitalisation of this popular community facility from vision to reality.
Due for completion in mid-2024, this new and improved aquatic centre will certainly earn its place on the 'things-to-do-list'.
