A new high end corporate fitout (6,200m2), entailing construction of a new entrance, end of trip facilities, replacement of all base building amenities, new Zone 4 secure areas, landscaping/external works, and the full services decommissioning and upgrade to deliver a 20-year serviceable life for HP’s new home.
The HP fitout included a Zone 4 secure space for 160 staff with the remainder of the fitout housing boardroom, video conferencing rooms, and open plan workspace and utility areas for a total of 560 staff. Key characteristics and similarities of the HP Adelaide Metro Fitout are listed below.
- Supply, delivery, and installation of 560 workstations.
- Extensive structural cabling infrastructure, including data cabling, communications cabling, fibre optic cabling, clear conduits.
- Installation of new BMS system
- Refurbishment of the existing onsite diesel generator
- Installation of new and upgrade of existing UPS system
- Creation of new internal SCEC Zone 4 secure space.
- Supply and installation of new battery backup room
- Supply and installation of new supplementary AC to meeting rooms/breakout spaces.
- Creation of new MDF and IDF computer rooms within secure space.
- Supply and installation of new crack units.
- Upgrade of the existing entrance and reception.
The HP Adelaide Metro Fitout was delivered on time and $1m under budget.
